Where do you live?
Woodbury, NJ, but I’m currently living on Long Island and attending Hofstra University.
Where are you from?
NJ!
Favorite color?
Anything warm-toned.
Something you used to be afraid of that you’re not anymore?
I used to be scared making connections and relationships with new people, but I now realize that I have a lot to offer this world and I shouldn’t be afraid to let everyone know what I’m able to give.
Any weird fave food combo?
Fries in a vanilla milkshake. Trust me on this one.
What are you reading right now?
“Dear Ijeawele, or a Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions” by Chimimanda Adiche
Best Halloween costume?
I went as one of The Powerpuff Girls last year with two of my other friends!
Who is your celebrity crush?
Lily James!!!
Favorite song?
Right now it’s “New York” by St. Vincent, but it changes all the time.
Celebrity look alike?
People tell me I look like Amanda Bynes… not sure if I see it though.
Who is your style icon?
Kate Moss and Brigitte Bardot
What time did you wake up this morning?
8 am! I try to wake up at a consistent time every morning.
If you someone gave you $500 that can only be spent all at once, what would you buy?
$500 worth of Free People clothes.
Biggest pet peeve?
When people can’t realize the appropriate time to stop talking. Lol
How do you take your coffee?
With almond milk creamer! My favorite is the caramel flavor by Silk.
Besides you, who should everybody be following on Instagram?
@hellokatyxo, @morganashleyjo, @amyflyingakite, @anthropologie
Dream vacation destination?
Anywhere in France, but particularly Paris.
Last favorite workout?
A vinyasa yoga class!
Favorite decade and why?
Definitely the 70s because of the retro fashion and the great music that came from that decade :)
What’s the bravest thing you’ve ever done?
Choosing myself. I’ve always been the type of person that immediately falls to the needs of others and avoids difficult confrontation, but I realized that I deserved more than I was allowing myself to receive. Sometimes, making selfish decisions can lead to amazing self-growth :)
